Between February and April 2019, hundreds of crime survivors representing a new victims’ movement will join state and community leaders across the country for the largest gathering of crime victims in the United States. Held each year during National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, the annual Survivors Speak convening brings together crime survivors, particularly from communities most affected by crime, to share stories, honor loved ones, and advocate for smart justice policies that transform families, communities and the state.
